Tandoori Marinade

Ingredients: 
  • 3 tbl fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 small onion, peeled and quartered
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tbl ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tbl garam masala
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp salt
Directions: 

In the bowl of a food processor, combine the ginger, onion, and garlic. Process until finely minced. Add the remaining ingredients and process again until smooth. Marinate meat in the fridge for 4 hours prior to cooking.
